Announcement: Tribal EPA Region 9 Announces the 2021 Annual Tribal EPA Region 9 Conference
The Tribal EPA Region 9 Conference announces the 2021 Annual Tribal EPA Region 9 Conference.
The Pala Band of Mission Indians is honored to be the Tribal co-host with the US Environmental Protection Agency for the 2021 Annual Tribal EPA Region 9 Conference, taking place October 18-21, 2021. Under the direction of the Pala Environmental Department, we are organizing a robust and exciting agenda of speakers, sessions, and experiences for conference attendees.
At this time, we are tentatively planning for the conference to take place in person at the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Resort, but are also prepared for an all-virtual event. Stay tuned for an announcement from the Pala team and the conference planning committee after June 1 about whether we will be gathering in person.
We are excited about bringing together our Tribal and EPA colleagues and friends throughout Region 9 for this year’s conference. If we do meet in person, we will still have most of the events online so those who can’t make it to Tahoe can still participate.
Mark your calendars for the week of October 18, 2021, and check back frequently for updates on registration, calls for proposals, and more.
